Safety Production Notices for Asphalt Mixing Plant

Asphalt mixing station safety production is a top priority. Attention should be paid to the details during the four phases of start-up, production, and shutdown to ensure the safety of operators and protect the stable operation of equipment.

Prepare before starting

(1) Pay attention to the impact of weather changes (such as wind, rain, snow, and temperature) on production.
(2) Check the level of diesel tanks and heavy tanks and pitch tanks. When the oil in the tank is 1/4, it should be replenished promptly.
(3) Check if the temperature of the asphalt reaches the production temperature. If it does not, you need to continue heating before starting the machine.
(4) According to the ratio of cold aggregates, it should be checked whether the aggregate is sufficient.
(5) Check whether the staff and auxiliary equipment are complete, such as loaders, vehicles, and operators at each post.
(6) Perform preheating inspection on the oil supply volume of the thermal oil furnace and determine the position of the asphalt valve. Start the asphalt pump and check whether the asphalt can enter the asphalt weight tank of the asphalt storage tank normally.

Start

(1) Before switching on the power, check the position of each switch correctly, and pay attention to the power supply sequence of each part.
(2) According to the ratio of asphalt mixture, the parameters of the microcomputer should be set correctly.
(3) After the air compressor is started, the pneumatic valve is manually opened and closed several times under the pressure of the rated pressure to ensure normal operation, especially the finished product warehouse door, and the residue is discharged in the tank.
(4) Prior to starting the rest of the equipment, the relevant personnel who informed the equipment are ready.
(5) According to the equipment's circuit interlocking relationship, each part of the motor is started in sequence. The operating inspector should observe whether the equipment is operating normally when starting up. If there is abnormality and immediately notify the control room, corresponding measures shall be taken.
(6) The equipment is idling for about 10 minutes. After inspection and confirmation, production can be started through alarm notification.

(4) Prepare a locomotive at the waste (overflow) port and dump the waste (spill) on the off-site.
(5) Production should be gradually increased, and various factors should be comprehensively analyzed to produce suitable production to prevent overload production.
(6) When the equipment is in operation, various abnormal conditions should be taken care of to judge, stop, and start the equipment in a timely manner.
(7) When production is stable, various data such as temperature, air pressure, and current should be recorded.

Shutdown

(1) Control the total production volume and the amount of memory in the hot silo, prepare downtime as needed, and notify relevant personnel in advance to cooperate.
(2) After the production is completed, the rest of the materials should be cleaned and there should be no excess material in the drum and the dust removal chamber.
(3) The asphalt pump should be replaced with a pump so that no asphalt remains in the pipeline.
(4) The heat-conducting oil furnace can be turned off as needed to stop heating.
(5) After the equipment is completely shut down, it should be cleaned.
(6) Check, repair, adjust and test equipment failures, such as dripping, oil leakage, belt adjustment, etc.
(7) Release the mixture in the finished product warehouse in time to prevent the successful opening of the bucket door.
(8) Drain the water in the air tank of the air compressor.

Correct operation can avoid equipment failure, ensure the smooth operation of the asphalt mixing plant, improve the production efficiency of the asphalt mixing plant, and effectively improve the quality of the asphalt concrete.
